VVKI Partners with '[24]7 Charitable Trust' to Train 120 Underprivileged Women for Employment

Vyakti Vikas Kendra India (VVKI), a registered public charitable trust under the aegis of The Art of Living, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with 24/7 Charitable Trust to implement a residential employability program for underprivileged young women in Bengaluru.

Under this partnership, VVKI will deliver a fully residential, two-month training program for 120 women aged 18 to 35 from low-income households. The program will run in batches of 30 candidates, with eight hours of structured training daily across five modules: life skills, communication, customer service, personality development, and self-presentation. Daily sessions will also cover spoken English, value education, and computer training including office administration and Tally.

Priority will be given to first-generation learners, single women, women heading households, and candidates from families engaged in daily-wage or agricultural work.

All trained candidates will receive an NSDC certificate upon completion and guaranteed placement support. VVKI will track the employment and earnings of each graduate for one year after the program.

24/7 Charitable Trust, the CSR arm of [24]7.ai, Inc., a California-based technology company specializing in AI-powered customer engagement, will fund the project. The Trust will also facilitate subject-matter experts from 24/7 Customer Private Limited as guest trainers in behavioural and soft skills, and will conduct an employee donation drive for sewing machines for participants interested in entrepreneurship.
